Kampfgruppe 03

When the moon crashed into the earth, spilling its innermost parts, the last survivors of an ancient brotherhood stepped up to the plate: For a long time, the members of the Marduk Order, named after the first dragon slayer Marduk in Babylon, did not have to put their abilities to the test. But with the waking of Tsukuyumi, the 25 knights – who have become high-technology-powered elite soldiers – have a new battle to fight.

While the Kami were hunted in Japan, the people of medieval Europe had devoted themselves entirely to the high art of slaying dragons - it was reserved for the best knights and had brought forth heroes such as Siegfried and George.

The Marduk Order, founded in 778 A.D. as a secret brotherhood, soon made a name for itself with its glorious stories even outside the initiated circles. From the first roman-german emperor until modern times he was included in the statutes of every european nation, as guarantor for the power of man over dragons. Even though the Age of Enlightenment disguised the knowledge of dragons, the Order continued to eliminate all creatures quickly and discretely.

Tsukuyumi's arrival called the Order back into action: with the help of the last remaining resources, it prepared itself for perhaps the most important mission to save humanity. Equipped with overwhelmingly powerful combat suits, the 25 knights were divided into five battle groups and catapulted into orbit with landing modules - the only way to overcome the great distance to the former Pacific within a very short time. While KG 1 landed on the moon, 3,000 km above the ground, KG 3 has arrived in the former Pacific and is now approaching the dragon from the ground.

What began as a well-planned short-term mission developed into a nightmare. No matter if human or mutation - what gets in the way of the Kampfgruppe will be destroyed in order not to endanger the mission. The conquest of the moon has first priority for the order.

The name says it all: The Kampfgruppe wins the game by effectively annihilating potential opponents.

The KG is for players who like to steer large, strong units through many battles and quickly recognize where they can hit their opponents severely.

It is easy to block the opponent's build-up and to dominate the game psychologically with powerful units and weapons. The KG is a faction where the usual motto "The player with the most areas wins" does not apply. Instead, the player must quickly and dynamically dominate the game from the first turn and dictate his playing style to the opponents. He must occupy strategically important areas that earn additional victory points, destroy Oni, and do everything in his power to conquer the moon. If you manage to use the Oni's attacks to your own advantage and provoke conflicts between opponents, you can deprive your fellow players of important resources without being involved in the conflicts as such. If enough enemies are finally assembled, a targeted hit with the atomic bomb of the Erzengel can weaken the enemies considerably.
